Alpaca Ranch Field Trip Part 2: Shearing Day!

We are headed back to the Alpaca Ranch for Shearing Day!

It is important for the health of Alpacas that their coats are shorn yearly, and this year we were invited to join in the fun, so of course we're bringing you all along with us!

We'll learn about what all they get up to on their little spa day, and see them get their hair cut before the Texas summer heat comes. Marie discusses processing and using the alpaca fiber in Needle Felting and Wet Felting projects, as well as the qualities and features of using alpaca fiber.
