HOW TO USE:
3D Projects = great firm work surface that can take pressure while you roll and shape your pieces.
2D Projects = best with FINE felting needles as these mats are DENSE and tend to resist the needle.
*This is great for 2D because more wool stays on the SURFACE of your picture and less fiber pushes through to the back of the fabric where it cannot be seen.

These super dense mats resist coarse felting needles and may not be ideal for multi-needle tools if you are attempting to push fiber into the mat.
However if you want a firm surface that allows you to felt the wool to itself and give you the ability peel off your felted fiber without it getting overly embedded, try one of these WOW Mats!
