1. Base Layer

Pick the foundation for your vessel.

Suggested For a sturdy, dense bowl, use Maori, Bergschaf or MC-1 wool battings. For a thinner, more delicate vessel, try the Merino Top 19.5M. Want to play with a variety of these fibers, check out the Studio Packs!

2. Wool Colors

Choose the main colors.

Suggested Your vessel can be any color you like! Try one of our Wet Felting Bowl Kits if you're not sure what color to use, they come in some fun colorways!

3. Luster & Effect Fibers

Add texture, shine, and special effects.

Suggested Viscose, Tussah Silk, Bamboo Top, Yarns, Charm Packs, nepps, and silk fabrics - sari silks/ribbon.

4. Tools & Notions

Gather helpful tools before you begin.

SuggestedWet felting resist, olive oil soap, ball brause, bubble wrap, mesh, plastic sheeting, super bubble. The Wet Felting Tools Bundle has all these items if you are just starting out.
