PROCESSING TIME 
For in stock items, we strive to ship all orders received before 11:00 AM CST  the SAME DAY, however during high season or high volume days, orders may ship the  the next business day.  Special orders, large bulky orders, orders with out of stock items, and orders requiring a lot of customization or fabric cutting may ship in 1-2 days or on the day communicated by our staff.   We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.  


STANDARD SHIPPING - Contiguous 48 States

Delivery time estimates are 3-10 business days from your order date (business days are Monday-Friday, excluding Holidays and company closure dates). Time in transit is not guaranteed. At this time, Standard Shipping is available in the lower 48 states only. 

You will receive an email with tracking information when your order is shipped.  Please allow up to 2 business days to receive your tracking information.

 Standard shipping is ground transportation and may use USPS, UPS or FedEx and may take longer to arrive than other methods.  For quicker delivery times, see our other shipping options.   Some items sent directly from our suppliers may take longer, and will ship separate from the remainder of your order. Sales tax may be assessed on the shipping charge in certain states, where applicable.

Packages under 1lb will most often ship via USPS FIRST CLASS
Packages over 1lb may ship USPS Parcel Select, UPS Ground, FedEx Ground or other UPS/USPS services.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

CANADA - DUTIES PREPAID

Our friends in Canada may now choose to have Duties Pre-paid. The flat rate is set by officials in Canada and currently is $6.95 for first class and $9.95 for priority packages. This will avoid duties and service fees after importation. (we hope it helps! :)

Please allow 7-10 business days for most orders to Canada. We have experienced shipments as quickly as 4 business days and as long as 21 business days depending on location/region. Living Felt does not have any control over the speed at which Canadian orders are delivered. Please order ahead for gifts/ special delivery times etc.   


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS UNDER 4LBS 

Ship First Class International (unless otherwise specified during checkout), over 4LBS ships International Priority Mail.

A valid telephone number is required on all International shipments. All International Orders require insurance as we do not always have a direct way to track or retrieve shipping information once a package has reached customs. If you wish to have tracking for every step of the journey = choose INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY MAIL.

Once an international order has reached customs it is the sole responsibility of the customer to obtain the package and all customs fees or charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. A package returned to us due to unpaid customs fees will be treated like a "return". Postage fees will not be refunded. Although we do our best to provide the very best service and assistance for our customers, we have no physical ability or can assume no additional responsibility other than providing our International customs shipping number and information once a package has left our facilities.  


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TIMES
During normal conditions, international parcels can take up to 4-6 weeks depending on country and location as well as shipping service chosen. First Class International shipping can take additional time (up to 45 business days at times) Please do not request additional package information as we will not be able to provide it. We have no method and no authority to contact your local International postal service on your behalf. 

 TIME IN TRANSIT *COVID-19 POTENTIAL DELAYS - TO BE ANTICIPATED FOR ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS We are seeing in transit times ranging from 3-weeks to 8-weeks from the USA to the UK and other countries abroad. We are unable to refund orders or shipping costs due to shipping delays; please order with anticipation of long parcel transit times. Please also watch for customs communications regarding duties that may be required to collect your parcel. If a parcel is returned as a result of unpaid duties, we are unable refund cost of shipping and unable to re-ship.

COST OF FREIGHT
 Our shopping cart system has a "Calculate Shipping" feature that will estimate shipping for any items that you add to your cart. International shipments require full address to calculate shipping. Click Proceed to Checkout button and log in or enter billing and shipping info; payment method is not required for calculation. Intl orders over 4lb (2kg) require PRIORITY MAIL; if this ever occurs and you prefer 1st class, state so in the comments of your order and we can put in multiple boxes as needed.  The shipping rate calculated covers only the postage. There may be additional import taxes or duties charged by the destination country. As every country calculates these differently, we have no way to account for them in the shipping rate.  Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the receiving party.


SAFE DELIVERY LOCATION

It is the SOLE responsibility of you the customer to be available to provide a safe place for USPS to leave your package. It is the SOLE responsibility of you the customer to provide Living Felt with the correct shipping address. If the carrier attempts to deliver a package but cannot do so because of an incorrect address provided by you the customer, Living Felt is not responsible for tracing, tracking down or resending your order, it is the responsibility of you the customer. If an order is returned to Living Felt, we will contact you the customer for correct shipping information and will resend the order to you. ALL standard shipping charges will apply for reshipping.  You may wish to enroll in the free USPS Service called INFORMED DELIVERY   If an order is LEFT at your door (as indicated by the online tracking system) by the USPS and you are not there to receive it or if it is stolen from your doorstep, Living Felt is not responsible for replacing or resending your order or investigating on behalf of you the customer. It is your SOLE responsibility to be available to receive your order from USPS or to provide a safe place for USPS to leave the package. Please use the tracking information provided in your order to communicate with USPS in your investigation of your missing package. 


HOLIDAY SEASON SHIPPING GUIDELINES: (NOV 1st - FEB 1st) 
 *Please expect longer than normal transit times this holiday season.  Order 2-3 weeks early for Holiday delivery in the USA, longer for international shipments. Delivery dates are not guaranteed. Once an order has been placed and shipped, Living Felt cannot do anything additional to expedite the shipping process for you and we assume no additional responsibility, nor have any authority for the speed at which your package arrives. We cannot call USPS for you or initiate an investigation for 10 business days after the package has left our facility.
