In this beginner wet felting tutorial, we will explore basic wet felting techniques and processes for creating a handmade felt fabric that can be used in other craft projects.
This tutorial will help you understand the difference between wet felt and nuno felt, and will also give beginners an easy way to felt up some gorgeous material for other craft projects. This method would also be great for felting with kids.
How to card wool for felting: drum carder, hand carders and blending board. Blending wool gives you the opportunity to make beautiful batts to felt with.

These gift ideas include the mixed media we have been gathering all week, fabric, buttons, threads, charms, etc., and today our DIY Felt crafts include what we call mini-prayer flags, love notes and well wishers. These fun mixed media gifts can take on any ideas you have! We see brooches, magnets, rearview mirror spinners, window art, desk art, etc.
We will learn a few basic embroidery techniques to help you turn your scraps into little works of art that will also make great gifts, valentines, galantines, and love notes.
