Needle Felting A Hat Kit

The needle felting a hat form foam was designed by Suzanne Higgs and now Living Felt has developed an eco-friendly version as part of our Earth Harmony Line.

This version is denser and will last longer. We love it!

You can also use it for needle felting a round purse or a vessel!

Now you can buy one size hat form and get both the tall and the short form in one hat! The forms are cut so that you can simply attach the extender to the short crown of the form with a felting needle or T-tack and have a tall hat form. The extender is approximately 2 inches taller. The hat making is so fun, so easy, so warming!

This kit includes written instructions -- but if you already have all the supplies, you can a downloadable pattern right here!

Kit Includes:

- Needle Felting Hat Form with Tall Extension Size

- Your color choice of 4oz of our wool batting

- Complete instructions with step-by-step color images

*For this project, we love working with either the Bergschaf, Maori and MC-1 Wool Batting because they produce a sturdy, firm felt.

**Our current kits will come with the Bergschaf or Maori Wool Batting. :)

Also Needed:

- Felting Needles (we recommend 38 Triangle and 40 Triangle needles)

- (Optional) A multi-needle tool is incredibly helpful for this project

*We recommend using our Punch it Tool with 4 or more medium-fine needles such as the 38 Triangle or 40 Triangle.
