Needle Felting Kit: 2D Mushroom Picture

These red-capped mushrooms are delightful to needle felt and oh so easy. In this beginner friendly kit, you will learn how to make a little needle felted mushroom scape that is totally unique.

Instructions for this kit are on video (see links below).

This project is a great introduction to needle felting you will learn how to make your projects firm and smooth and is wonderful for practicing shading.

*We would recommend adding an Iron-on Transfer Pen to make transferring any image to your background a breeze! Our Iron-on Transfer Pens come in a variety of colors, perfect for any 2D project. You can find them here or down below in the recommended products section. :)

This kit goes along with our free tutorial -- and if you prefer, you can get the pattern right here!

Kit Includes:

- Wool Batting

- Fun fiber selection for creating the mossy goodness at the base of your mushrooms

- Linen fabric or your choice of wool felt

- Mushroom patterns for variety in your mushroom pictures

*This kit has plenty of wool to needle felt several mushrooms, but you will need more base fabric or felt.

Also Needed:

- Iron-on Transfer Pen

- Needle Felting Foam Pad (10x7 or larger)

- Felting Needles 38 Triangle or 38 Star, 42Triangle

- Additional background fabric if you plan to make multiple mushrooms (we suggest Linen fabric or 100% Wool Felt fabric)
