Nuno Felting a Collage Scarf - Patti Barker
In her new course, Patti creates a mermaid-themed collage scarf that features a patchwork of both hand-dyed and sari silks, and incorporates recycled fabrics into the layout for amazing textural design and interest. Wool "Volcanoes" hide a shiny surprise inside, and beaded and sequinned fabrics felt easily into the piece. Wool and silk fringes are crafted to trail off the scarf for a beautiful flowy look. Patti shares so many interesting techniques in this course for you to make completely one-of-a-kind scarf, or even use what you've learned in your next project!
Per the supply list, Patti is suggesting:
- A Variety of Luster Fibers such as: Bamboo Top, Viscose Top, Sari Silk Waste, Silk Hankies, Wool Nepps, Angelina
- Olive Oil Soap
- Ball Brause (Optional)
- Acid Dyes (Optional unless you wish to dye your own silks)
