Bamboo Top
Bamboo Top is a versatile plant-based fiber that is easily incorporated into needle felting and wet felting projects. This fiber is created from harvesting the Bamboo plant. A machine compresses the woody part of the plant and then uses natural enzymes to break it further down. The natural fibers are then combed out and spun into a top, yarn, or even fabric.
Bamboo Top is a non-felting fiber; however, it can be used in wet felting and even needle felting projects where wool or other felting fibers serve as the binding agent. You might be surprised that only thin, wispy pieces of wool can anchor it down to your project.
Bamboo Top is a smooth, delicate fiber that adds lots of sheen to a felted project. You can use Bamboo Top in wet felting to create wonderfully shiny design elements.
