Wet Felting Kit: Slipper Kit

Learn to felt over a resist and create a wonderful pair of slippers or booties for some very happy feet!

Our instructions include directions for the pink-purple slippers, the brown-orange slippers, and the short booties shown above. Once you learn the basic process, you will be able to fashion your own truly unique pair again and again!

This kit includes written instructions -- but if you already have all the supplies, you can get the pattern right here!

Kit Includes:

- Wet Felting Mesh 1/2 yd

- Resist Material 18" x 30"

- Complete full-color instructions with step-by-step photos for making ballerina type slippers AND low cut booties

- Your choice of 4, 6, or 8 ounces of wool fiber, currently using our Bergschaf Batts

*For this project, we love working with either the MC-1 Batting or Bergschaf Batting because they produce a sturdy, firm felt.

**Our current kits will come with the Bergschaf or Maori Batting. :)

Sizing - Weight of Wool:

4oz -- Small Feet and children, thin slippers

6oz -- Average Adult, thicker slippers, booties

8oz -- Thicker slippers, thicker soles, larger sizes, larger booties

Also Needed:

- Olive Soap

- Old Towels

- Bubble wrap/Painters Plastic

- Rubber Shelf Liner

- Felting needles for surface design (we would recommend a 40 Triangle/Spiral and a 42 Triangle)

- (Optional) Ball Brause

- (Optional) Palm Washboard

- (Optional) Wool or yarns for adornments
