Needle Felting Nature: Roosters & Chickens with Jennifer Field
Teacher Jennifer Field returns to Living Felt from Maine.

In this fun & colorful 2 day workshop students will explore a variety of wet and needle felting techniques to turn wool fleece into a beautiful sculptural rooster, realistic or fantasy colors, complete with handmade copper feet created by the instructor. Students will learn about solid construction, armatures, incorporating wet felted elements into needle felting, finishing details and how to add multi media elements to their felting. Some felting or sculpture experience is helpful but not necessary. This is an advanced beginner friendly class, but more experienced students would greatly benefit from shared tricks and techniques.

Students will work with Living Felt brand fibers including our CW-1 Core Wool and MC-1  Felting Batts,
as can be seen in many of Jennifer's bird and animal sculptures
