Our needle felting a hat form foam was designed by Suzanne Higgs and now Living Felt has developed an eco-friendly version as part of our Earth Harmony Line. This version is denser and will last longer. We love it! And you can also use it for needle felting a round purse or a vessel.

Now you can buy one size hat form and get both the tall and the short form in one hat! The forms are cut so that you can attach the extender to the short crown of the form with a felting needle or T-tack and have a tall hat form. The extender is approximately 2 inches taller. The hat making is so fun, so easy, and so warming!

For This Project You Will Need:

- Needle Felting Hat Form

- 4 oz of MC-1, Maori, or Bergschaf Batting (hat will require 3-4 oz)

- Felting Needles (we recommend 38 Triangle and 40 Triangle needles)

- (Optional) A multi-needle tool is incredibly helpful for this project

*We recommend using our Punch it Tool with 4 or more medium-fine needles such as the 38 Triangle or 40 Triangle.
