FELTING WORKSHOPS:

Living Felt brings talented and experienced instructors from around the world so that our BFFs (Best Felting Friends) can enjoy amazing opportunities for learning how to felt in person while also connecting with others and making new friends. It's no secret, our classes sell out pretty darn fast, and some end up with wait lists right quick. Due to the popularity, high demand and limited spaces in these felting workshops, we offer the following the options for reserving your space in one of our exciting classes to come.

 Registration & Tuition

Tuition is payable at the time of registration. Students may opt to pay in full, or depending on the start date of the class, students may have the option to select one of our payment options. Payments other than full pay are to be made with a Credit Card and not with Paypal.

Full Pay: Pay the full price of the class at time of registration. Payment may be made via Credit Card, Paypal, Check or in person with Cash.

Two-Pay:  When a class is more than 60-days away, the student can choose the two-pay plan if paying by credit card. 

50% will reserve your space in the class. The second payment is automatically billed 30-days later to the credit card used to reserve your space. Your credit card information is secure and is not stored on our system or in our store/office. Once payment is made with your CC, the merchant processor will apply any following payments based on the schedule above without our staff ever seeing your CC number.

Lay-A-Way: When a class is more than 120 days away Lay-a-way may be offered.
If available this payment plan can be selected if paying by credit card. 
If a lay-a-way payment plan is offered for a particular workshop, the payment increments will divide the total cost of the class into 3 payments. The second and third payments are automatically billed 30-days later to the credit card used to reserve your space. Your credit card information is secure and is not stored on our system or in our store/office. Once payment is made with your CC, the merchant processor will apply any following payments based on the schedule above without our staff ever seeing your CC number.

Payment #1 reserves your space and is considered the deposit.
Payment #2 is will be automatically charged to your credit card 30-days later.
Payment #3 is will be automatically charged to your credit card 30-days after the 2nd payment.

If your initial class reservation was made with Paypal,  we will call you to get a CC# for any future installments owed.

Materials Fees
Fees vary by class. Materials fees are additional and cover the cost of supplies provided by shop/instructor and used by individuals for their in-class projects. Students may also be asked to bring tools and materials of their own to the workshops. Materials Fees to the shop or instructor are due at the conclusion of the workshop.

Refunds
Due to financial commitments of bringing teachers from out of town and out of the country, registered students desiring to withdraw from a class with an out of town instructor must do so no later than 60-days before the first class to receive a refund less 10%. For classes by in-house instructors, withdrawal no later than 30-days is required for refund. If you withdraw past the refund date, and a class is full, we will try to help fill your seat from the wait list if there is one. If we are able to fill your seat, a full refund will be granted. There are no make-ups, refunds or credits for missing a regularly scheduled workshops.

Wait List
If a class is full, it will say "on back order". In that event, please email or call us to be placed on a waiting list. We encourage you to get on the wait list if your chosen class is full. When an opening comes available, the first person on the list will be notified and will have 24 hours to respond. After that time, the seat will be offered to the next person on the list, and so on. It has happened that the 6th person on the list ends up being the one to attend, so do not be discouraged...keep the faith ;)

Cancellations
If a class is canceled, you will be notified approximately 30-60 days before class begins or sooner whenever possible, and tuition will be refunded. When possible, classes not held due to bad weather or instructor absence will be rescheduled.

Meals
We order lunch for the entire group from local restaurants. Please bring cash for lunches. Depending on what you order, average spend is $5-$10 per person. You may bring your own lunch and snacks to workshops if desired. We also have healthy restaurants and a major grocery store nearby. We provide coffee, tea, water, sparkling water and light snacks to all of our guests at no charge.

LF BFF Travel Buddy
For multi-day workshops, you may see the option to check a box and participate n the LF BFF Travel Buddy Program. If you check this box, we will help you connect with other LF Friends coming in to town in the hopes that you can pair up to save on cost of hotel and car rental. Some people find  cute Air BnBs to share and really save a lot.

We are in a small complex next to FLORES RESTAURANT.
*If you use Google maps/places, Search LIVING FELT  and not our address, 

otherwise, it tends to give a wrong location.

Accommodations & Hotels:
Students needing overnight accommodations may enjoy a variety of offerings in the area from B&Bs, to very Austin funky hotels and chain hotels from budget to elegant.
**If flying in a day early and/or leaving a day later,  can be beneficial to stay near the airport for the first/last nights and take advantage of free shuttles -- plus save on car rentals.
