About the Instructor:
Kimberly Pulli. Drawing women’s faces is what
I have always been passionate about. I remember my ninth grade teacher Mrs.
Funk when she formally taught me the rules to draw portraits. I have never
looked back. In my fifty years I have drawn, painted, glazed, used fabric markers
and now felted faces.
I graduated from the
University of Florida in 1992, with a BFA in painting and pottery. Right after
college, I taught pottery at the Brevard Art Museum and Brevard Community
College in Cocoa.
Even though, I loved teaching,
I moved to Pennsylvania two years later to pursue my dream with my best friend
of - opening a pottery studio. Twelve years later, I met my husband and got a
full time job. Long story, but I saw a
video of Marie Spaulding on You tube and started slowly needle felting. Marie
encouraged me each step of the way and here I am.
Once Kimberly began offering her artful felted purses featuring her signature style of beautiful faces, she immediately sold out and had a list of commissions lined up. We are so honored to have her come share her techniques with us!
