Students may purchase additional fibers, and supplies from the shop if desired.
Advanced Detailing & Armatures for Needle Felting Realistic Animals:
Award winning artist Megan Nedds joins us from Ohio to share her techniques for ultra realistic detailing on needle felted animals.
Students will learn how to create armatures that lend themselves to realistic poses, how to paint eyes, how to apply long fur,
and the clay techniques Megan uses for incredible beaks, talons, claws, noses and horns/antlers.
Megan has made hundreds of realistic needle felted animals and will share all she can fit into this one-day class on the details that take
a felted sculpture to incredible realism.
Megan says, "I love working with Living Felt's MC-1 fast felting

and the colors are perfect. When I use them, I know my sculptures will turn out

What to Bring:
Students should bring a notebook and images of animals they wish to needle felt.
A skeletal drawing of the animal may also be very helpful.
Lunch - we can order out, or you can bring your own.
We have a fridge and toaster oven (no microwave).
